About the Park

Yellowstone Bridge RV Park, an RV park and man camp, is located east of Fairview, Montana, in a beautiful spot next to Sundheim Park, the Yellowstone River and the historic Fairview Bridge and Cartwright Tunnel.

The 14 RV spaces are surrounded by trees for shade and wind break. RV and trailer hookups include county water, electricity, and sewer. Pets are allowed as long as they are properly supervised and do not disturb other campers.

Sundheim Park is about 2 miles west of Cartwright, North Dakota and about 4 miles east of Fairview, Montana, on the west side of the Yellowstone River and the south side of ND Highway 200. Nearby activities include the boat ramp, fishing, boating, hiking, frisbee golf, and biking.

What to do

Fairview Lift Bridge

The Great Northern Railway's 1913 lift bridge stretches 1,320 feet across the Yellowstone River and is now open to walkers and cyclists, a short walk from the park.

Cartwright Tunnel

Built in 1912 and 1913 just east of the bridge, the 1,456 foot Cartwright Tunnel is the only railroad tunnel in North Dakota.

Fishing and boating

The boat ramp at Sundheim Park opens up the Yellowstone River for paddlefish, walleye, northern pike, sauger and catfish, and a fishing license is required.
